Miami ist eine amerikanische Stadt an der Atlantikküste, sie ist berühmt für ihre Strände und das bunde Nachtleben.
Ihre Karte ist in Bezirke aufgeteilt, in denen touristische und finanzielle Zentren, Wohn- und Industriegebäude konzentriert sind. Die Schönheit der Bebauung stellt sie auf den dritten Platz in dem Gesamtrating der USA nach New York und Chicago.Miami wurde als «die sauberste Stadt von Amerika» anerkannt, bei der Aufstellung der Bestenliste wurden die Reinheit der Luft, des Wassers, die Sauberkeit der Straßen und die Gesamtfläche der Parkzonen berücksichtigt. Der Stadtbezirk Miami Beach lockt Liebhaber des Strandurlaubs und lautstarken Partys an. Hier, in der Nähe der Strände, sind alle beliebte Orte für die Erholung und die Vergnügungen konzentriert: Restaurants, Nachtclubs und andere Einrichtungen. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt: ein Muster der Gartenbau- und Parkkunst Villa Viskaya, ein Ozeanarium und ein Zoo. Insgesamt, dank dem sanften Klima, der Entwicklung des Tourismus, einer großen Anzahl interessanter Events und einer gelungenen Lage, kommen jährlich 38 Millionen Erholende nach Miami.Das öffentliche Personennahverkehr funktioniert gut: es ist ein Netz von Buslinien entwickelt, einige Linien funktionieren rund um die Uhr, eine Eisenbahn verbindet zentrale Bezirke mit der Vorstadt. Aufgrund der nahe an der Oberfläche liegenden unterirdischen Ströme ist die U-Bahn in Miami überirdisch, umfasst 2 Äste und 23 Stationen. Eine Besonderheit des öffentlichen Personennahverkehrs der Stadt ist die Existenz einer Monorail-Linie "Metromoover", die Fahrt mit welcher frei ist. Wenn man den Stadtführer nutzt, kann die Fahrt mit der Monorail zu einer ausgezeichneten Alternative zu einer kostenpflichtigen Stadtführung werden.
