If you have classes at ASU on the west side of campus use this light rail stop instead of the one on rural because it is closer and usually less crowded.

Light rail station right across A Mountain. A lot less crowded than the rural/university station.

The Lightrail system connects Tempe to the greater Phoenix area, including Downtown Campus. A UPASS is available to students for an $80 flat fee and is good for unlimited METRO access all term.

If you've got an mp3 player or anything of the sort, use it... People are so loud! Noise isolating earbuds work wonders too! :]

This station is right by Tempe Butte, so there are more bees here than at other stations. If you're allergic to bees, go to the Rural/University station instead.

Be careful, although the lightrail is a easy way to get to and from campus after dark it can be a little dangerous! Make sure to stay in well lit areas and always be aware of your surroundings. It is

I'd love it if there were more shade here. It can be quite hot waiting for the rail, and seemingly there are less seats for the Westbound side. Great place to catch a bus to Tempe Marketplace, though.
