If you have more than a day or two in Seattle and the weather is fine, take a ferry ride. The views are stunning, and Bainbridge Island is charming and cute. A nice getaway from the city!

Efficient service despite massive re-modeling that has been ongoing for over a year. I’m always impressed

Ride an evening ferry to Bainbridge. On the way back get a nice sunset and night time view of the city skyline.

The Bainbridge ferry crossing is about 45 min, the Bremerton is 1 hour. Depending on where you're headed and how many ferries you are going to miss, taking one or the other might save you some time.

Miss the boat? That happens. Go enjoy a cold beer at Commuter Comforts. The staff is great and the drinks and snacks are tasty.
