Come early or near close to see active animals. There's a display inside just for kids to touch and play.

It's a small town park that teaches kids and adults about local wildlife plus the bear is an artist. Great small town zoo

Don't miss Maggie the black bear. She's an artist and you can buy her original artwork in the gift shop.

Check out the indoor-outdoor museum displays and more than 40 native animal species and hundreds of plants from around the world. Wear comfortable shoes!

Small zoo, low price. The walk is easy and the staff was nice. Even called to find out what time the bats come out at Carlsbad Cavern for us. Also, wild lizards and native birds if you watch.
