One of the finest theatres designed by C.J.Phipps built in 1883 - a gem! Resident theatre company produces a season of 8 plays of a high standard - well worth a visit ( also a festival venue)

The front row is a couple metres from the stage - great legroom.

My favourite seats are the stalls boxes. Make sure you look up to see the chandelier and the amazing ceiling.

Arguably the best theatre in Scotland, beautiful venue, friendly staff, great shows, comfy seats. What's not to like?
