Great hotel and very old building, the bar is renovated and great food. The rooms are classic 1970-1980’s. Don’t expect a Marriott or Hilton

Lovely older boutique hotel right on English Bay. Great access to Stanley Park and False Creek. Best place to stay in Vancouver.

Comfortable with friendly staff but largely living on past reputation. The bedrooms and bathrooms could seriously do with a refresh as they are well past their prime.

Stay here for location. It's old and room smelled like mildew and cleaner. The whole hotel had a weird smell. Awful lumpy pillows. Wifi didn't work most of my stay even when I had bars

Best view to enjoy delicious prime rib, mussels or drinks. Reasonable prices and parking underground is included (or stop in when walking the seawall).
