Good for tourists to get a simplified view of the whole Mary Queen of Scots timeline and list of people. The house itself not that impressive. And it's free.

Mary Queen of Scots stayed here to attend an assize in 1566, but fell dangerously ill from an abdominal haemorrhage. She recovered slowly but made her way back to Edinburgh by easy stages.
