15th century farmhouse converted to a pub in 1968. Packed full of antiques. Home to the John Thompson brewery. Great real ales.

The John Tompson is renowned for brewing their own beers. People travel from near & far to sample the beers. Very accommodating & friendly! Foods good too, I hear!
