"neat" was my emotion after about 15 minutes here. Ive never been to a Crater, so I enjoyed it for that. The place is worth a quick trip if you're in the area.

Staff called the Sherrif because I walked off trail; I failed to see the sign. Never have I been treated like this out of all the museums I visited in this country and Europe. Absolutely rude staff.

Great spot for seeing desert flowers, birds, and butterflies, til the old grouchy man goes ballistic.

When the winds are just right, there is an overpowering petroleum smell permeating the place. You may want to take a surgical mask.

Visually nothing quite beats the big hole in the ground back in Az .. but there's lots of interesting views still. A nice visit if you're passing nearby. (Get a t-shirt .. I did! lol)

Make sure to visit with Frances while visiting the Meteor Crater. She and her husband maintain the property and museum and know everything there is to know.
