Beautiful and comprehensive. You can spend the whole day here seeing everything from Richter to Cranach. A total highlight.

Nice modern art collection but the whole place was a bit of a labyrinth. Great with a student discount! The contemporary exhibition was unfortunately not very impressive...

Plant euch bestenfalls drei bis vier Stunden ein. Ist sonst nicht zu schaffen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert! Eines der Highlights in Hamburg. Besucht auch den Museumsshop!

Very nice collection of impressionists, barbizons and renaissance artists. Definitely a must visit, especially is you like Degas, Renoir and Manet
